Benjamin Ochan has been named as the next captain for KCCA FC ahead of the new season that kicks off tomorrow.
Head coach Morley Byekwaso confirmed that he chose Ochan because of his experience that will be key in the new season.
“I have chosen Ochan Benjamin as Captain because of his experience as a person and one who knows this football club in and out. He has got all the qualities to make a good captain and he is the right player to lead these players.”
Ochan replaces Charles Lukwago who left the club for greener pastures in the concluded transfer window.
Ochan returned to the 13 time Uganda Premier League champions after ending his marriage with Kenyan outfit AFC Leopards at the end of last season.
He will be deputized by Gift Ali Abubakar, Denis Iguma and Julius Poloto.
KCCA FC will begin their Uganda Premier League campaign away to Wakiso Giants on Sunday, 17th October.
