Nalukenge and three other U20 youngsters boost Crested Cranes squad

Juliet Nalukenge who plays for Apollon Ladies FC in Cyprus and Kawempe Muslim midfield duo of Shakira Nyinagahirwa and Hadija Nandago have been added onto the Crested Cranes squad that is preparing for Ethiopia in the Africa Cup of Nations for Women.

The trio were also part of the national Under 20 team that beat Kenya in the World Cup qualifiers last week.

They are now part of the team that started training on Wednesday at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.

Uganda will face Ethiopia on 20th October at St. Mary’s Stadium Kitende.

The return leg will be played in Bahir Dar on 26th October.

The aggregate winner will face Kenya or South Sudan in the final qualifying round.
