BIG LEAGUE: Arua Hill overcome 9-man Mbale Heroes to stretch unbeaten run

Arua Hill SC stretched their unbeaten run to 11 games after defeating 9-man Mbale Heroes 2-0 in an Elgon Group match played in Arua.

Allan Mugalu and Baden Ogama Mujahid scored the two goals that ensured victory for the Hussein Mbalangu coached side.

Mbale Heroes finished the game with two men less after captain Jamaldin Buchochera and goalkeeper Hatimu Hilbert were sent off.

Mugalu headed Arua Hill into the lead as early as the second minute of the game and ensured a 1-0 first half scoreline.

Buchochera was shown red for a second bookable offense on Paddy Muhumuza in the 60th minute, five after seeing yellow for fouling Mugalu.

Goalkeeper Hatimu was shown a straight red after a dangerous foul on Brian five minutes to normal time.

Mujahid then made it 2-0 after collecting from Gaddaffi Gadinho.

Arua Hill have now garnered 23 points and are temporarily four points clear of second and third placed Blacks Power and Gadaffi FC.
