The group stage of the Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations group stage qualification draw has been held on Tuesday evening in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Former Ivory Coast and Chelsea forward Solomon Kalou and former South African captain Lucas Radebe were the draw assistants.
48 countries were drawn basing on the official FIFA ranking released on 31sr March.
The qualification will kick off in June this year with the top two teams in each group advancing to the 2023 AFCON finals which will be held in Ivory Coast.
Uganda Cranes who failed to qualify for the 2021 continental showpiece are in group F alongside Niger, East African neighbors Tanzania and Riyad Mahrez’s Algeria.
Defending champions Senegal are in group L alongside Benin, Mozambique and Rwanda.
