Vipers cruise to an eight goal thrilling victory over BUL to clinch second Uganda cup

Brazilian Robertinho Oliviera has become the 2nd Vipers SC coach to give them glory in the Uganda cup.

They have beaten BUL FC 8-1 to emerge victors in their 6th Uganda cup final. They had lost 4 of their last 5.

BUL FC head coach Alex Isabirye has lost his first Uganda cup final after winning the trophy with URA and SC Victoria University.

Vipers signified that they meant serious business as early as the 3rd minute when Milton Karisa headed in Disan Galiwango’s cross but the referee called it off for offside.

Just a minute later, Livingstone Mulondo headed in again to put Vipers in the lead.

Mulondo opened the floodgates for Vipers, it was followed by a hat trick by Yunus Sentamu, a brace by Ceaser Manzoki and Milton Karisa.

Hamis Tibita scored BUL’s consolation goal in the final quarter of the match.

BUL were undone by an injury to their only eligible goalkeeper Sanoni Mulabi which forced them to put Musa Esenu in goal.

Vipers also lost Fabien Mutombora to injury.
