Former KCCA FC midfielder Allan Kateregga has been unveiled by DR Congo side FC St. Lupopo.
Kateregga put pen to paper on a two year deal and shown to the club fans in Lubumbashi.
He has been without a club since leaving Ebril Sports Club of Iraq early last year when his contract expired.
Nicknamed the Dancing Rasta, Kateregga with don shirt number 10.
He has previously played for KCCA FC and the defunct SC Victoria University in the Uganda Premier League. He was a transfer target for KCCA but the Congolese big spenders tabled a better offer to claim his services.
Kateregga has also previously turned out for Cape Town City and Maritzburg United in South Africa as well as Kenyan sides Tusker and AFC Leopards.
FC Saint-Éloi Lupopo are six time winners of the Congolese Linafoot league. They host their home games at Stade Kibassa Maliba in Lubumbashi.
Kateregga will be facing his fellow countryman Joseph Ochaya who turns out for Lupopo’s Lubumbashi rivals TP Mazembe.
