New signing Geoffrey Wasswa, former Ndejje midfielder Emmanuel Wasswa and leggy midfielder Ronald Sekiganda scored as SC Villa overturned the first leg defeat to Ndejje University and progress to the round of 16.
The match was played at the Arena of Visions in Ndejje in a return leg of the Uganda cup round of 32.
Ndejje came into the game in the driving seat thanks to a Brian Ssali’s goal in the first leg at Bombo Military Grounds.
Sekiganda scored first for Villa in the 62nd minute and debutant Geoffrey Wasswa extended Villa’s lead with 20 minutes left on the clock
Only 2 minutes later, Emmanuel Ndejje put the icing on the cake with a poacher’s finish.
The full time result meant that Villa progress to the next round on a 3-1 aggregate
