Express through to the last 16 after being awarded controversial penalty

Martin Kizza won a controversial penalty in the 86th minute when he easily fell down after very minimal contact from Felix Okot

Substitute Frank Kalanda perfectly converted from the spot to give the Red Eagels a lease of life.

The game was destined for penalties following a 0-0 stalemate in the first leg at Nakisunga. Kalanda had come on for Muzamir Mutyaba on 45 minutes.

Denis Otim failed to capitalise on a defensive mistake from Express’ backline when he chose to loop the goal keeper instead of going direct for goal.

Express FC join BUL, Proline, Vipers, Maroons , Onduparaka,URA and Tooro United in the last 16 party.
