The Uganda premier league can not be short of drama, during Maroons’ visit to Busoga United, one player in the names of Sula Mpaga sustained an injury that required immediate medical attention but there was no standby ambulance to race him to the hospital.
Administrators of Busoga United instead offered to rush him by a Subaru after all the SUV is famous for being super fast.
The football governing body has instead fined Busoga United for breach of article 15 of the FUFA Competitions Rules and article 16 of the Uganda Premier League rules.

“The team failed to make available an ambulance during the course of the match.”
“The CDP hereby sanctions Busoga United FC with a fine of UGX 1,000,000 (Uganda shillings one million) to be paid immediately upon receipt of this decision.”
“Busoga United is further implored to adhere to the rules at all times so as to avoid bringing the game of football into disrepute.
In November last year Busoga United was also fined after its fans protesting in the 87th minute after Allan Kayiwa scoring for Express FC.
Busoga United is second last on the UPL table with 9 nine points from 15 games
