Abubaker Mayanja scored an extra time winner to help KCCA FC win the innagural Cambiasso International tournament that was organized in Tanzania.
They beat Tanzania’s Azam FC at Chamazi Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
The tournament had U20 teams competing for glory from different countries like France, Tanzania, Burundi and Zambia.
KCCA midfielder Andrew Kawooya Sergeant was named the MVP of the tournament while goalkeeper Abraham Opio won the Golden Glove.
KCCA kicked off the tournament with a 4-0 win over Ruvu Shooting thanks to goals from Faizal Wabyoona, Abubaker Mayanja, Jovan Mawejje and an own goal from Musa Kibwana.
They lost their next group game 2-0 to Mtibwa Sugar before proceeding to the semis where they beat Montpelier 1-0 in the semi final thanks to a late Dembe John Paul winning goal.
