Micho summons more foreign based players to the Cranes

Three England based players have been added onto the Uganda Cranes team preparing for AFCON qualifiers due for the next month.

These are Ibra Sekajja (Dulwich Harmlet FC) and Odokonyero Nathan (Bognor Regis FC), the duo is expected to arrive in the country Wednesday while Tirhys Luknyomoi (AFC Port Chester FC) arrives today.

The trio will be assessed together with the players already in camp for inclusion in the final squad as FUFA finalises with processing of the official documents.

Meanwhile, Vipers SC forward Yunus Sentamu is also expected to join the team.

Uganda’s opening match will be a trip to Algeria on 4th June 2022, followed by a home match against Niger at Kitende.
