Kampala Queens beat Rines SS 3-0 in a Women Super League game played at Kabaka Kyabaggu.
Two goals from Magret Kuniihira and another own goal. Kunihira had previously scored the lone goal agaisnt She Maroons that inspired the Hamza Lutalo coached team to their first win of the season.
She wasted no time but to exquisitely put in the lead against Rines with a superb strike from about 25 yards in the 13th minute.
The former Kawempe Muslim forward then made it 2-0 in the 24th minute in the similar style.
She brilliantly feigned her opponent onto the ground and curved the ball into the net past the hapless Rines custodian.
Kunihira is now in touching distance with Grace Aluka of Olila High School who is the leading scorer of the league with four goals so far. UCU’s Hasifa Nassuna and Favour Nambatya of She Corporate also have three goals each.
Zaina Nandede, another new signing, orchestrated the third goal with a teasing cross that was headed by Rines’ Diana Nantongo into her own net on 30 minutes.
The successive victories have lifted Kampala Queens to the fourth place with seven points and a game in hand.

They face Uganda Martyrs in their next game on Tuesday at IUIU Kabojja.
The other games played on the day saw She Corporate beat UCU 2-1 at Mukono while Olila got a point at Tooro Queens in a barren stalemate.
