Uganda Cranes defender Richard Kasagga has sealed a move to Tunisian Ligue 1 club Olympique Beja.
He has been without a club after opting not to extend his contract with Indian club FC Aizawl towards the end of last year. He has been attached to shirt number 22 at the Tunisian club.
He becomes the first Ugandan to play in the Tunisian league since Yunus Sentamu who featured for CS Sfaxien in 2014-15.
Kasagga has previously played for the now defunct Kira Young, KCCA FC and URA FC in the Uganda Premier League.
He had a stint in the Lebanese League with Salaam Zgharta in 2015-16.
His new side, Olympique Beja was founded in 1929 and host league games at Stade Municipal Beja.
Olympique Beja have won the Tunisian President Cup twice as well as the Tunisian Super Cup once.
They are currently fourth in the Group B table of the Tunisian Ligue 1 with 10 points from nine games played.
In Group B, they are competing with notable clubs Etoile de Sahel, Club Africain and US Monastir.
