Ghana Football Association have sacked Serbian coach Milovan Rajevac following the country’s poor show in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Cameroon.
The four-time African champions surprisingly finished bottom of the Group C table after garnering only a point in three games.
They lost 1-0 to Morocco, drew 1-1 with Gabon before falling 3-2 to Islanders Comoros in the final game.
According to GhanaSoccerNet.com, the Ghana FA has been directed to terminate the appointment of Milovan Rajevac with immediate effect.
This follows a stakeholders meeting between the Ghana Football Association and the Sports Ministry held on Friday.
The Black Stars are expected to start a new life after the departure of the 68 year old Serbian during the final qualification round of the 2022 FIFA World Cup slated for March.
