KCCA’s title surge has been dealt a huge blow after four of their key players have been handed suspensions for two matches each.
The FUFA disciplinary panel found the four guilty of aggressively attacking the referee in objection to one of his decisions during KCCA’s 2-2 stalemate with Vipers SC at St. Mary’s stadium Kitende.
These include midfielder Ashraf Mugume, striker Sadat Anaku and defenders Musa Ramathan and Innocent Wafula.
On top of the two match bad, they have been handed a suspended fine of 500,000/= each.
The club has also been slapped with a 1,000,000/= for failure to tame their fans who pelted the pitch with empty water bottles.
Head coach Morley Byekwaso will also pay a fine of 1, 000, 000/= for his utterances after the match.
KCCA’s next two matches include a home duel with Police FC on 10th December and a visit to SC Villa on 18th December
