In what promised to be a match of many goals, Alfred Leku was the first man to record his name on the score sheet as early as the second minute when he connected well with a fine Richard Andama corner kick.
Samuel Sekamatte recieved two successive opportunities but his scoring touch eluded him and the halftime scoreline read 1-0.
On resumption to the second period, Sekamatte finally found the back of the net thanks to some nice delivery from Matovu in the 54th minute.
Arua Hill appeared to have rested on their laurels following a two goal cushion until youngster Innocent Media gave the scoreline a respectable status deserving of the fixture in additional minutes to the regulated 90.

There was however late drama when Tooro United were handed a chance to score a consolation and Mwanje made no mistake but to score past Andama
Arua Hilla will hope to extend their ascendency when they visit limping Solitilo Bright Stars who were beaten 2-1 by UPDF at Bombo on Sunday.
