Wakiso Giants coach Alex Gitta has rued his team’s failure to take their chances when he suffered first defeat since taking over from Douglas Bamweyana 30 days ago.
The former Express and Masavu coach had enjoyed a perfect winning run of four matches but last evening, his side couldn’t cope with the red Eagles.
During the post match press briefing, Gitta blamed his team failure to take their chances and also the referees for missing some key decisions.
“We deserved better given the performance but we need to work on our sharpness in the final third because we missed some good chances”
He said.
” They looked not to have a clear precise decision making and I beg their body to interest itself in the footage of the entire game for the betterment of the league ”
Gitta and his men will hope to bounce back on Tuesday 30th when they host embattled Soltilo Bright Stars at Kabaka Kyabaggu stadium in Wakiso
