Maroons FC made their intent to return to the Uganda Premier known after beating bookies favourites Proline FC at their own backyard Lugogo.
Former Kirinya Jinja S.S striker Fred Aguero Amaku’s 13th minute strike was enough for the Prison Warders to hung on and register their first victory of the season.
Proline remained winless having drawn their first game 0-0 against Nyamityobora.
Blacks Power cruised to a 3-0 victory over Charles Ayiekoh’s MYDA FC at the Akibua Memorial in Lira.
MYDA were on the back of late scintillating 3-2 victory over Ndejje University on match day I.
Michael Siu, James Okiror and Daniel Otim scored the three goals that ensured Blacks Power recover from their opening day defeat.

Kyetume and Kitara FC played to a 1 all stalemate at Nakisunga.
Ezra Bida came off the bench to spur Kyetume into the lead before Johnson Stewart Mwesigwa equalized for Kitara in the dying minutes.
The game in Mbale saw Kataka being held to a 1-1 by Nyamityobora who are without a coach.
Nyamityobora who had Ibrahim Kyobe in the dug out during their first game against Proline, had no coach on the touchline against Kataka.
Clinton Kamugisha scored their goal as they drew with Kataka.
Kataka leveled the matters moments later through Hassan Wadenga following a long throw in from Steven Namaisi.
The league will take a break and resume on Sunday 28th November.
