Uganda Premier league confirms changes in two Busoga United fixtures

The Uganda premier league secretariat has announced that Busoga United’s meeting with Soltilo Bright Stars on Friday 19th November instead of Saturday 20th at FUFA Technical Center in Njeru.

The move has been made to allow the opening ceremony of the 2021 Masaza Cup tournament which is to be held at the same venue on Saturday 20th November

It was confirmed in a document signed by UPL CEO Bernard Bampaire Bainamani,

“M48 Busoga United Vs Soltilo Bright Stars, FUFA Technical Center has been moved from Saturday 20th November 2021 to Friday 19th November 2021. Time and venue remain unchanged.”

“This was in line with a request by Masaza Cup organisers to have 20th November 2021 as the opening ceremony.”

In the same capacity, Busoga’s other meeting with URA FC has also been affected by the FIFA U20 World cup qualifier between Uganda and South Africa.

The match which was supposed to be played on the 3rd of December has been pushed to a yet to be confirmed date.

Busoga United are sixth on table having managed six points from the four games so far played.

Soltilo Bright Stars is winless from four games they have lost three and drawn once which puts them in the 15th position on the table of 16 teams
