Mali sealed their place in the next round of CAF’s qualifiers to Qatar 2022 after beating the Amavubi stars of Rwanda in Kigali.
Their fate was fueled by Uganda’s failure to beat Kenya at St. Mary’s stadium Kitende and Sunday’s meeting between the table leaders becomes a dead rubber.
Mali are now on 13 points and four above second placed Uganda who they will host in the final game of Group E on Sunday.

Rwanda will end their campaign away to Kenya on Sunday.
Mali are through to the final qualification phase while the Qatar 2022 World Cup dream for East African trio of Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda is over.
