Taddeo Lwanga misses out as Micho names foreign based contingent in squad to face Kenya and Rwanda

Simba SC midfielder Taddeo Lwanga will miss Uganda’s two final world cup qualifiers against Kenya and Rwanda. On the sidelines , he joins Montreal impact defender Mustafa Kizza who has also been overlooked by Micho.

The foreign based group includes Charles Lukwago (Saint George), Isma Watenga (Chippa United), Mathias Kigonya (Azam), Moses Waiswa (SuperSport), Bevis Mugabi (Motherwell), Timothy Awany (FC Ashdod), Fahad Bayo (FC Ashdod), Isaac Muleme (Viktoria Zizkov), Allan Okello (Paradou), Khalid Aucho (Young Africans)

Captain  Emmanuel Okwi who recently joined Kiyovu FC of Rwanda also bounces back.

Uganda is preparing for the final two group E World Cup qualification games against Kenya and Mali due in November.

The Cranes are currently second in Group E with eight points in four games, two adrift of leaders Mali.

The summoned 10 foreign based players join the 23 local based players who were earlier called by Micho.
