Busoga United earned a comfortable 2-0 victory over neighbors Gadaffi FC at the Gadaffi Arena in Jinja to kick start their new season on a high.
Second half quick fire goals from youngster Ngonde Elvis’s and Ntege Anwaru Mustafa were all the Abbey Kikomeko coached side needed to seal all three points.
Busoga United needed Micheal Nantamu’s safe hands to produce a number of important saves in the second half to come away with the three points.
Busoga United are now among the five teams to have won their first game of the season with KCCA, SC VIpers, Mbarara City, and Arua Hills
