Local based players dominate Cranes squad to face Rwanda

Micho has named 16 local based players out of the 25 man squad that will face Rwanda on Thursday at Stade Kigali Nyamirambo.

Willa Paul, Joel Mutakubwa, Mato Rogers, Charles Lwanga, Sadat Anaku, Mahad Kakooza and Milton Karisa have been the unlucky seven not to have made the squad that will travel to Kigali this evening.

Milton Karisa who started the previous match against Mali has missed out on the squad.

Uganda will face Rwanda on Thursday at the Stade Kigali Nyamiryambo in the first meeting of the double header against the Amavubi.

The team will set off at Entebbe international airport aboard RwandAir.

Uganda are in group E that is led by Mali with 4 points, Kenya and Uganda with 2 apiece and Rwanda with one.

The match in Kigali will be kicked off at 6pm Kigali time and 7:00pm Ugandan time on 7th October.
