Micho drops more players as Cranes squad for Rwanda shapes up

KCCA FC trio of Brian Aheebwa, Musa Ramathan and Herbert Achai and URA FC duo of Ashraf Mandela and Patrick Mbowa are the latest victims of Micho’s axe after being asked to leave the Cranes camp ahead of the Rwanda double header.

They join Davis Kasirye, David Bagoole, Joachim Ojera, George Kaddu and Ibrahim Wammanah who were shown the exit yesterday.

23 players are currently in camp with 10 foreign based expected to join when the FIFA dates are open.

Meanwhile, Uganda Cranes had a build up game on Thursday morning and beat KCCA FC 2-1 at the MTN Omondi Stadium.

Denis Iguma and Milton Karisa scored Uganda’s goals while Charles Lwanga netted for KCCA FC.

Uganda who are currently third in group E with just two point in two games will face off with Rwanda on 7th October in Kigali with the return leg slated for 10th October at St.Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.
