Cranes striker Nsibambi joins FC Sidama Buna in Ethiopia

Former KCCA striker Derrick Nsibambi has joined Ethiopian topflight league side Sidama Coffee FC.

Reports from the horn of African country indicate that the Uganda Cranes striker has signed a two year contract with the club commonly known as Sidama Buna.

He has been a free agent after his contract with Egyptian side Smouha FC officially came to an end at the end of last season.

He was in negotiations to join his former club KCCA but the deal fell through due to his high wage demands.

He will now become the second Ugandan to play for Sidama Buna after midfielder Yasser Mugerwa who played for the club last season before returning to the Uganda Premier League.

Nsibambi houns other Ugandan in Ethiopia like Robert Odongkara, Charles Lukwago and Kirizestom Ntambi.
