Despite the closure of the transfer season, Busoga United has announced the signing of two more players in Joseph Junior Mukisa and Rashid Mpata.
The two have been awarded employment contracts of one year each.
Mukisa is an experienced defender who has rejoined a side he featured for two seasons ago. He hs also previously played for Busia Fisheries, BUL FC before joining Western Stima in Kenya.
In Western Stima he played alongside Isaac Doca Mweru and Martin Mpuga.
Mpata joins Abbey Kikomeko’s coached side from relegated MYDA FC.
He has previously played for Bugiri De School, Iganga Young and Mwatate United in Kenya.
They join new signings Anwar Ntege, Elvis Kibbale, Douglas Bithum and Peter Onzima who joined from rivals BUL FC.
The team earlier on confirmed Abbey Kikomeko as their head coach and will be assisted by Jimmy Jalendo.
Bright Dhaira was retained on his post as the goalkeeping coach while former Bugiri De School head coach Ifan Akoba is the fitness coach.
