Greek tactician Petros Koukouras joins Englishman Geoff Hudson, Serbians Milutin “Micho” Sredojevic and Serbian Zivojnov Srdjan and Spanish Antonio Flores as coaches to have coached at Uganda’s record league champions SC Villa.
Koukouras has been unveiled this morning by club CEO Shawn Mubiru to the media at the Villa headquarters in Industrial area.
He has been signed on a two year employment contract to replace Edwardo Kaziba who was let go at the end of last season after serving for two seasons.
The UEFA A licensed coach has previously served at Apollon Kalamarias, Desn Youth Football Club in Guangdong (China), Real Madrid Foundation Clinics, Pacific Heroes and South Sudan National team.
He becomes the fifth foreign tactician to manage at the club, others are Englishman Geoff Hudson, Serbia’s Milutin “Micho” Sredojevic, Serbian Zivojnov Srdjan and Spanish Antonio Flores.
Koukouras will work with former KCCA FC junior team coach Jackson Magera and Richard Amatre as his first and second assistants.
Mubarak Kiberu will be the goalkeeping coach at club while former player Philip Ssozi is the head coach of the Youth team.
