Onduparaka FC has appointed former URA coach George Lutalo as their next head coach on a three year deal.
He has also previously been appointed as the coach for the national women’s senior team that will be preparing for COSAFA CUP.
Lutalo has already started work with the team ahead of his official unveiling.
Onduparaka has been without a coach following the sacking of Harold Joseph Mutyaba towards the end of last season.
The Catepillars endured one of their worst season since elevation to the topflight six years ago when they finished 12th with only 28 points after winning only 8 matches and losing 14.
Vialli Bainomugisha who had replaced Charles Livingston Mbabazi left at the start of the season, he was later replaced with Abu Mubarak Wamboya and he also left until the appointment of Mutyaba.
George Lutaro has worked as assistant to Sam Ssimbwa at URA for the last three years and has also served as head coach for Jinja based JMC Hippos when they played in the Uganda Premier league in 2015.
Lutalo was at the helms of another premier league side SOANA FC now Tooro United in 2017 but his time here lasted only three months when he was sacked after failed to register a single win in four matches
