In 2018, Brazilian Roberto Oliviera Goncalves was head coach for Kenyan Premier league side Gor Mahia.
He was highly rated and expected to take Gor to higher levels until it was found out that he did not have the required papers to coach in the Kenyan league.
It was found out that Robertinho did not have a CAF B licence and then Kenyan F.A president Nick Mendwa announced that the Brazilian would not be allowed to coach in Kenya again until he got the licence.
Robertinho has a somewhat rich CV in coaching having coached some big sides in his native Brazil and others clubs around the World.
He is also a former player for the Brazil national team.
Yesterday, Four time Uganda Premier league champions Vipers SC announced him as their next head coach on a three year contract.
