Sudanese centre referee Ismail Mahmood Ali Mahmood has been appointed by FIFA to take charge of the World cup qualifying match between Uganda and Kenya on September 2nd in Nairobi.
He will be assisted by fellow countrymen Ibrahim Abdallah Mohammed and Abdel Gabar Muhammed as the first and second assistant referees.
Mahmood is synonymous with Ugandan football after officiating the Cranes’ 2-0 winner Malawi in the AFCON Qualifiers at Namboole in 2019.
Fadul Sabri Muhammad also from Sudan, will be the fourth official while Labrosse Jean Claude from Seychelles will be the Referee Assessor.
The match will be played at the Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi on 2nd September 2021.
