SC Villa have unveiled KCCA striker Osacr Mawa for undisclosed contract period.
The young striker who is under the management of former SC Villa striker Eugene Sepuya will provide the cutting edge that has been lacking in Villa’s armory.
He said,
” I am happy to join the best club in Uganda, and to the fans, I can’t wait to meet you soon. I am a Joogo”.
He rose to fame after emerging top scorer when Uganda qualified for the U17 Africa cup of nations which was sadly cancelled due to COVID-19.
He scored 6 goals for the Cubs when they lifted the CECAFA tourney last year in Rwanda and he is currently a student at St. Juliana Gayaza S.S.
He joins Villa’s long list of signed up youngsters like Kenneth Semakula from BUL FC, Isma Mugulusi from Busoga United, Gift Fred and Ali Bayo Arshavin.
Villa are also believed to be closing in on the return of former midfielder Nicholas Kasozi.
He was one of the leading scorers of the FUFA Juniors League last season before the season was cancelled by Covid-19
