FUFA confirms cancellation of Jordan trip

The programmed friendly match between the Uganda Cranes and the Syrian national football team has been called off.

The federation stresses that the strict COVID-19 guidelines in the Jordan could not easily be adhered to in the short period of time.

Uganda will however go ahead with the friendly match against Ethiopia on the 29th as another practice match is arranged to replace the aborted one .

Uganda will play against Kenya on September 2nd 2021 and later host Mali on 6th September.
