Uganda Premier League champions Express FC have been pitted against Sudan’s El Merreikh in the first round of the 2021/22 CAF Champions League.
The draw was confirmed in the event held in Cairo, Egypt on Friday.
Express will host the first leg between September 10th – 12th before visiting Khartoum in September 17th -19th.
The aggregate winners between the two sides will face either Equatorial Guinea’s Akonangui FC or Zambia’s Zanaco FC in the second round.
Uganda’s other continental representatives URA FC have been drawn against Ethiopia’s Coffee in the preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup where the eventual winners will face Egypt’s Al Masry in the next round.
