Uganda’s AFCON U20 star Steven Serwadda has been confirmed as player of MLS side New York Red Bulls by KCCA FC.
The academy graduate who joined KCCA six years ago as a youngster grew up through the system at Lugogo having also featured for the Junior team in the FUFA Junior’s league.

The Lugogo based club made the confirmation this afternoon through a statement released on their social media pages.
“We hereby confirm that we have finalised an agreement for the transfer of Steven Serwadda to New York Red Bulls on an undisclosed permanent transfer “.
The diminutive striker impressed New York Red Bulls when he started for Uganda at the CAF U20 AFCON early thus year.
He has signed a two year contract with the Major league Soccer side which is also home to Ugandan great Ibrahim Sekajja .
Serwadda is currently part of the national U23 team that got eliminated from the CECAFA challenge cup in Ethiopia.
