URA announce first signing of the transfer season

2020/21 league runners up URA FC have announce the signing of defender Simon Baligeya on a three year contract.

He is a notable product of the Copa Coca Cola secondary schools championships after representing Standard High Zzana, Bulo Parents and Kibul8 S.S

In his own words, Baligeya expressed his delight at joining the tax collectors and vowed to fight for his place in the team.

“I am very happy to be here, it is honestly not that easy, people have been accustomed to the mentality that URA only fancies signing experienced players ”

“My move here has proven that otherwise and I believe it is going to be exemplary and encouraging for other young players.

Baligeya was quoted by the club’s official website.

“I intend to utilize the experience of the players here to improve myself and I am ready to learn from each one of them”

He added.
