Kobs coach Morley Byekwaso names strong squad for CECAFA

Cranes head coach Morley Byekwaso has named an inexperienced squad to take part in the CECAFA challenge cup that will kick off Sunday 18th July 2021.

Uganda will play their opening match against DR Congo.

Among the squad are uncapped youngsters like SC Villa midfielder Salim Abdallah, Wakiso Giants defender George Kaddu and Proline’s Hakim Kiwanuka among others.

Uganda are pitted in group A alongside Tanzania and Congo.

Defenders: Enock Walusimbi (Express FC), Abdu Aziizi Kayondo (Vipers SC), George Kaddu (Wakiso Giants FC), Musa Ramathan (KCCA FC), Kenneth Ssemakula (BUL FC), Magambo Peter (KCCA FC), Gavin Kizito ( SC Villa)

Midfielders: Bobosi Byaruhanga (Vipers SC), Abdul Karim Watambala (Vipers SC) , Steven Sserwadda (KCCA FC), Bright Anukani (KCCA FC), Salim Abdallah (SC Villa).
