KCCA release flop defender after only one season


KCCA FC have announced the edit of left back Moses Kalanzi who only joined in September last year.

“Moses Kalanzi has left KCCA FC. The left back run down his contract at the end of the just concluded 2020/21 season.

Kalanzi who donned shirt 27 joined in September 2020 and played one game for KCCA FC against BUL FC in the league. He was later substituted off at halftime.

A statement from the club read

The former KKL and Super Cubs defender had only one appearance, a loss to BUL FC and he was substituted by Juma Balinya.

He had just returned from a semi professional stint at Swedish clubs FC Aalborg, Hjorring and Jammerbugt.

Kalanzi’s exit provides room for the introduction of Brian Majwega who is expected to join in from URA FC.

He was only signed on a one year contract which they are been adamant to extend.
