Semifinals of the CAF champions league will be played tonight to determine the teams to play in the finals

Record champions and current holders Al Ahly take on rivals Esperance de Tunis while Kaizer Chiefs host Wydad Casablanca in the other second semi final.

Al Ahly who have won the title on nine occasions, will be aiming for their 15th champions league final.

Kaizer Chiefs also lead 1-0 against Wydad Casablanca having won the first leg in Casablanca thanks to Samir Nurkovic’s goal in the 34th minute.

The Amakhosi will be aiming for their first ever final while their opponents Wydad Casablanca have won the title on two occasions.

Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma produced a man of the match performance with eight saves in the first leg and could be required to replicate his exploits tonight.

Arthur Zwane will once again be in the dug out for Kaizer Chiefs since Stewart Baxter is yet to get a permit.

The eventual winners of both games will face off in the final slated for July 17th at the Stade Mohamed V in Casablanca.
