Uganda Premier League has confirmed a change in the kick off time for the remaining league games effective of Friday 18th June.
All the remaining StarTimes Uganda Premier League games will kick off at 3:00pm in a bid to beat the curfew time.
The development was revealed in a document signed by the UPL CEO Bernard Bainamani.
“Considering the government partial lockdown due to the prevailing Covid-19 situation in the country, the UPL Secretariat has adjusted the kick off time for all the remaining SUPL fixtures to 3:00pm effective Friday 18th-June-2021”
Reads the document.
The Uganda Premier League season will climax on 30th June with Express, URA and Vipers vying for the title.
Meanwhile the league will resume on Friday with two games on the cards. SC Villa will visit UPDF at the Bombo Military Barracks Grounds.
Kitara will host KCCA at the Masindi Municipal Stadium on the same day.
