Kyetume FC host Mbarara City in the only Uganda Premier League game on Wednesday at Nakisunga playground in Mukono.
Mbarara City head coach Charles Livingstone Mbabazi will be in the spotlight as he faces his immediate former paymasters.
Mbabazi was Kyetume FC coach until March 1st when his employment contract was terminated following a string of poor results at the club.
Mbabazi has steered Mbarara City towards safety and will be seeking for a fourth straight win after winning all the previous three games.
The Ankole Lions are now 9th with 35 points whereas their opponents Kyetume are struggling for survival while occupying the 14th place with 24 points.
The previous three meetings between both sides have seen Mbarara City winning twice with Kyetume winning the other. The first round encounter ended 3-1 in Mbarara City’s favor.
Kyetume will miss Mujuzi Mustafa and Ezra Kaye due to injury and illness respectively while goalkeeper Joel Mutakubwa and defender Julius Ntambi remain suspended.
Mbarara City will be without Makueth Wol who is currently with the South Sudan national team, Swalik Ssegujja Bebe, Zaidi Byekweso, Jackson Opio, Salim Huud are also ruled out of the encounter.
Striker Jude Ssemugabi and defender Souleymane have returned from injury.
