Express to negotiate tie against KCCA without Kambale and Lwesibawa

Express FC will take on KCCA in the second leg of the Stanbic Uganda Cup quarter final on Friday at the MTN Omondi, Lugogo.

The Red Eagles will be without forwards Erick Kenzo Kambale and Godfrey Lwesibawa.

Kambale and Lwesibawa are Express’ leading scorers this term and have scored double figures in the league.

Kambale, who also tested positive for COVID-19 early this week, is ruled out of the tie after accumulating yellow cards.

Lwesibawa picked a knock in the training.

Other players ruled out of the contest are long term absentees George Senkaaba and Abel Eturude.

Goalkeeper Mathias Muwanga and forward Frank Kalanda are ruled out by flu while Muzamir Mutyaba is available for selection.

For KCCA, Sam Ssenyonjo and Sadat Anaku are back from injury after missing the first leg.

Filbert Obenchan, Samson Andrew Kigozi and Brian Aheebwa are ruled out by injury. John Revita is recovering from a long lay off therefore he is not available for selection.

Julius Poloto, Andrew Kawooya and Kizza Joseph Bukenya are ruled out after picking up injuries in training.

Teenager Dominic Ayella is back training with the first team together with U-17 striker Mwanje Elvis are available for selection.

Only Denis Iguma is suspended after picking up two bookings in the Uganda Cup.

The first leg between the two sides ended goalless at Wankulukuku therefore, there is a lot to play for.
