Bunyaruguru Girls 2-1 Wakiso Hill WFC
Crested Cranes forward Norah Alupo scored a goal in each half as Bunyaruguru Girls FC beat Wakiso Hill Women Football in the FUFA Women Elite League third place play off at Njeru.
Alupo scored the opener in the 20th with a powerful low drive that squeezed through the hands of goalkeeper Zulaika Ayikoru.
Wakiso Hill levelled the scores through Sarah Namatovu Tita who headed perfectly from a corner kick in the 28th minute.
Alupo rose to occasion with a winning goal after going one on one with the keeper in the 65th minute.
She finished the shortened version of the Elite League season with five goals.
Bunyaruguru not only finished third but also won a money prize of UGX 3.5M. Wakiso Hill bagged 1.5M.
She Maroons and Rines booked slots in the 2021/22 FUFA Women Super League.
