BUL target semi final berth as they entertain Proline

BUL FC will hope to become the first team to book a place in the Stanbic Uganda Cup semi finals if they overcome Proline at Bugembe.

The Jinja side come into the second leg with a 2-0 aggregate lead obtained from the first leg at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo on Saturday.

Wingers Vitalis Tabu and Joseph Ssemujju scored two first half goals to give Alex Isabirye’s men a comfortable lead.

Proline had a lackluster performance in the first leg and face a daunting task of overturning the two goal deficit away from home.

BUL FC will once again rely on Semujju, Tabu alongside Simon Peter Oketch as they target for their first ever semi final in history.

Proline who are the defending champions will look up to their forward line that has Brian Umony, Mato Rogers, Diego Hamis Kiiza, Hakim Kiwanuka as well as Nordin Bunjo in search of a miraculous recovery.

Proline will be without Ibrahim Bonyo, Savio Kabugo and Yusuf Mukisa while Norman Kugonza will return from suspension.

BUL defender Kenneth Semakula will miss the encounter while away for the national duty. Ambrose Kirya and Hamis Tibita remain sidelined by injury.

The game will kick off at 3:30pm and will be broadcasted live on UBC TV.
