Joseph Semujju and Abdul Malik Vitalis Tabu scored two first half goals as BUL FC beat Proline in the first leg of the Stanbic Uganda Cup quarter finals at Lugogo.
Tabu scored from a free kick just outside the box as early as the 6th minute of the game.
30 minutes later, Semujju beat the offside trap and slotted the ball in an empty net to double the lead.
The former Vipers, Villa and Express winger nearly made it 3-0 but his long range shot came off the crossbar 10 minutes into the second half.
Dennis Okot also had his shot saved by goalkeeper Nicholas Sebwato in the 68th minute. Sebwato had just come on for Shatif Magoola who got injured.
The two sides will meet on Monday 31st May in the second leg at the Bugembe Stadium in Jinja.
