Terrazzo and Tiles beat Luwero United 3-1 in Mbarara in one of the two games played on Monday to register their first ever win in the Big League.
Veterans Emmanuel Balyejusa and Patrick Waligo scored a goal each while Khamis Rwothomio scored the other for Terrazzo and Tiles.
Henry Musisi scored the only goal for the Luwero United side and took his season tally to five goals.
Balyejusa opened the scores with a penalty before Musisi equalized.
Waligo and Rwothomio scored the second and third for the Mbarara based club respectively.
The game was Robert Ssekweyama’s first as the new head coach of Terrazzo and Tiles since taking charge from Michael Bukenya who was relieved of his duties.
The win took Terrazzo and Tiles to four points but remained bottom on the Rwenzori Group table.
The other game played on the day saw Kataka FC beat Calvary FC 1-0 at the Mbale Municipal Stadium.
Tifu Kahande scored the lone goal of the game in the first half and took Kataka to third place on the Elgon Group table.
Kataka have now garnered 15 points, one behind the joint leaders Arua Hill and Gaddafi FC.
The FUFA Big League will resume on Wednesday with one game as Nyamityobora play host to Luwero United at the Kakyeka stadium in Mbarara.
