FUFA Big League side Terrazzo and Tiles FC have named Robert Sekweyama as the new coach ahead of the start of their second round campaign.
Sekweyama replaces Michael Bukenya who was in charge of the club in the first round.
Bukenya took over from Ali Kimera who guided the club to their promotion from the Regional League to the Big League.
“This serves to clarify and inform the general public that Terrazzo and Tiles Fc has today, MUTUALLY agreed to terminate the agreement /contract between head coach MR. MICHEAL BUKENYA and the club after taking us through the first round of our maiden BIG LEAGUE SEASON,” reads a statement from the club in part.
“The management has further taken a decision to appoint a new head coach Mr.SEKWEYAMA ROBERT, who is going to take charge of the team effective Tuesday 04th May 2021. We wish them all success in their next take ups.”
The club said in an official statement.
Their new coach has formerly had stints at SC Villa, Express, Kamwokya United, Maroons FC and most recently Dove FC last season.
Sekweyama’s task is navigating the club to safety since they ended the first round campaign bottom placed on the Rwenzori Group table with only three points.
The club revealed new players signed ahead of the second round. These are Apenyo Daniel, Junior Ainamani, Gerrard Rwakitinti, goalkeeper Adam Kizza Katongole and Owen Byaruhanga.
