Nsimbe scores hat-trick as MYDA stun Busoga United in Tororo

Striker Ibrahim Nsimbe scored all the three goals as MYDA beat Busoga United 3-0 to earn their first home win in Tororo.

Nsimbe grabbed the first goal of the game after 20 minutes moments Busoga’s would-be opener through Anthony Mayanja was canceled for offside.

Busoga were awarded a penalty in the 29th minute but striker Shariph Kimbowa failed to convert. He put the ball wide.

Nsimbe made sure his side went for the mandatory halftime break with a two-goal cushion when he made it 2-0 inside the added two minutes.

He completed his hat trick with another sublime effort in the 64th minute and subsequently took his personal tally to 10 goals this season.

MYDA moved to 14 points but remained 15th, six points behind 14th placed Kyetume. They will visit their fellow strugglers Kitara FC in their next game on Tuesday 18th May in Masindi. 

Busoga who are now 13th with 26 points, will host Express at Njeru on the same day.
