The top scorer of the 2020 Airtel Masaza Cup tournament Charles Bbale has joined Buganda Regional club Kajjansi United FC.
Bbale will play for Kajjansi club also nicknamed “The Potters” for a period of one year unless otherwise.
He was the golden boot winner for the Masaza Cup tournament with 8 goals while turning out for Gomba who were the eventual winners.
Prior to the tournament, Bbale was featuring Mbabara based club Terrazzo and Tiles who won promotion and joined the FUFA Big League.
He joins the Masaza Cup MVP Arafat Usama who also plays for Kajjansi United. Usama is a young brother to Uganda Cranes goalkeeper Ismail Watenga.
Kajjansi United were unfortunate not to make the cut for the promotion playoffs when the third-tier league season was canceled following the outbreak of the COVID-19.
The respective regional leagues will resume soon after FUFA officially releases the fixtures.
