Wakiso Giants and Busoga United settled for a one-all draw as both sides faced off at the FUFA Technical Center in Njeru.
The match saw Wakiso Giants defender Hassan Wasswa Dazo sent off for a second bookable offense in the 76th minute while trailing 1-0.
Striker Shariph Kimbowa had put Busoga United in an early lead from Ivan Wani’s corner kick in the 15th minute.
While the Purple Sharks were chasing the game, Wasswa was shown a second yellow but Ssekajugo struck a leveler in the 81st minute.
The diminutive winger was set up by striker Ivan Bogere to win a hard-fought draw for the Douglas Bamweyana coached side.
The draw took Busoga United to 26 points but they stayed 13th with six points above the drop zone.
Wakiso Giants moved to 9th with 27 points accumulated from the 23 games played.
Busoga United will visit MYDA FC in their next game on Friday 14th in Tororo while Wakiso Giants will host bottom-placed Kitara at Wakisha on Saturday 15th.
