Joint record-holders KCCA and Express will face off in the quarter-finals of the Stanbic Uganda Cup.
This was confirmed in a draw that was held at FUFA house in Mengo on Tuesday, 11th May 2021.
To reach this stage, Express FC eliminated URA while KCCA beat Maroons 5-0 in the round of 16.
Vipers have been drawn against rivals SC Villa who have won the competition on nine occasions.
Vipers overcame UPDF in the previous rounds while Villa edged fellow Premier League side Onduparaka 1-0 on aggregate.
The other draw has pitted current holders Proline against the eventual winner of the pending round of 16 tie between BUL FC and Big League side Kigezi Homeboyz.
Proline beat Mbale Heroes 2-1 and 1-0 in two legs to reach the last 8 whereas BUL lead Kigezi Homeboyz 2-1 courtesy of their first-leg victory.
Wakiso Giants will renew acquaintances with Police FC in the fourth quarter-final. The two sides faced off in the league two weeks ago in a game marred by controversies.
Wakiso Giants beat Tooro United while Police FC eliminated Soltilo Bright Stars in the previous round.
The quarter-final games will be played from 25th May to 2nd June in a home and away format.
